I'm fairly new to Lboxing. Could someone explain what "X's" are?

X stands for exchange. If you meet another Letterboxer on the trail they stamp in your book and you can stamp in their book.

Exchanges are also done at gatherings which is a great way to collect alot of really creative stamps in a hurry, meet their owners and finally get to put faces with names! Isn't there a gathering in Virginia this coming weekend?
