Hey there great and wonderous M@d "Hatter"..er sorry Stamper...

Just love that picture....the obvious skill in graphic design has stunned
moi et many it seems..nice techy stuff...

It seems clear to me that you will be running the training session in
graphic manipulation at next year's Annual Boxerfest in VT ( It's a must
for the agenda I feel ) ..but ..along with the carving sessions, cryptic
clue writing .. and the all day multi-box hunts...well .... .is a
weekend enough I wonder...???

The "coolest" for me is to see the joy in the (magnified) eyes of a young
boxer hard at work....

Maybe he should be renamed "Sherlock Littlefoot "....more appropriate with
that hat and glass...also makes a great image for a personal stamp !...or
traveller ...

Elementary Boxing my dear stamper....most delightful...

ps Please remind me again....what is the X rating ? ie Placed Found and
X ?

I was about to comment on "Don't worry about Mitch - he's too 'MAD' to
cease letterboxing, AND, 'think of all the neat stuff he's learning,

* Poof *, your great photo montage arrives.

yup, its beautiful, and I was right!

Anyhow, (and to all belatedly), Happy Thanksgiving, Mitch - glad to see
news from you. Keep up the good work! Littlefoot has a great Uncle

Dear Garth, Kathy, and everyone else...
Thanks to all who sent such nice comments regarding the photo comp of my
nephew and me letterboxing in Kansas.

Since some did not get the attachment, I have also posted it in the
Letterboxing Kids Photo Album on the website.
http://members.aol.com/catsdice/lbna/kids/album02.htm

As for Garth's questions, I did the photo montage on my PC using the layer
masking feature of Adobe PhotoShop 5.5. It's a positively MAGIC piece of
software!!!!

The photo on the left of the composition shows us on the boulder that sits
atop the Waconda Lake letterbox near Glen Elder, Kansas. That's about an
hour north by north-west of Kanopolis. (Both Glen Elder and Kanopolis Lake
are on the Smoky Hills Creek)

On the right, Little Foot is pointing to where the Cedar Bluff letterbox is
hidden at Cedar Bluff Reservoir near WaKeeney, Kansas, which is about an hour
and a half west of Kanopolis.

All six of the NW Kansas Lakes where we've placed letterboxes would be
excellent places for riding horses. Someday, perhaps we'll get to expand the
series eastward to include Kanopolis and the very popular lakes at Milford
and Tuttle Creek.

Sincerely,
Der Mad Stamper

Dear Mitch,

I will add my compliments to those of the others on your
beautiful montage. I'm glad you've put it up on the website's photo
album page now.

Also glad to see you've been able to get up some west coast clues.
Happy holidays to you and to all.

Tom
