hitchhiker?

From: Linda Peterson (wandering06249@yahoo.com) | Date: 2002-08-29 17:26:55 UTC-07:00

While out letterboxing recently, we found a box with an extra stamp in it. At first we thought it was a hitchhiker, but it didn't have a logbook with it. We then thought it might be a stamp that another letterboxer accidently put in the box but that stamp wasn't stamped into the log. Does anyone have any ideas on this? It was found at Hartman Park in Connecticut

Could both stamps have belonged to the box? Our Nehalem Bay box has
two double sided stamps in it.

Don't do this.

We can only hope that it is part of some elaborate, intricate scheme
that is just begininning to reveal itself. :-) Even if it isn't,
you shouldn't post images of other people's stamps unless you have
their permission. That is just plain rude, IMHO ...

If you find something unusual, imagine first the possibility that
it could be part of someone's game. It prolly isn't, but there are
things going on, and the people behind them often don't chit chat
about them. I think they think its more fun that way ... (at least
that is what my sources tell me).

IMHO, you can take it, but if you don't want to, don't.
