there really isn't much of a back story. 2013 is actually the date i had a friend check the clues to make sure they were still accurate. might have been planted as early as 2010 or even earlier. at some point dms had given me a stamp to plant in new hampshire. i did so and posted the clues. he then asked for me to not to post the clues as he had something special in mind. so i took the clues down. a number of years passed and he was never quite ready. then, i think, life got in the way for dms and the box just became a low priority. it happens. so over time the box has sat lonely and forlorn in its little corner of the forest. so again this past month, as i had a couple of times over the years, wrote dms and asked about posting the clues. receiving no response i went ahead and posted it.
so the next time you come to new england you will have to come to my neck of the woods where the visitors are few and far between.
