well

From: Dave (nhpedestrian@yahoo.com) | Date: 2005-11-12 05:06:50 UTC
as some of you have found out, i am Team New Hampshire. what i did
the last few days, praising myself, and the last few weeks,
disrespecting others as well as myself, was wrong. all i did was ask
a simple question, and i felt some of the opinions were a bit out of
line, but i did ask! i should have taking everyones opinions as that
and carryed on with letterboxing. instead, i started a fire that
seemed to have burned down many bridges. from what i am to
understand, i have been banned from this list, as gingerbreadjunk.
but as noted, i can come her under another name such as this one. i
didnt show my face again here to start another fire, but to make
sure the fire is out and to continue as gingerbreadjunk here at this
message board. please except my apoligie and except me for the
letterboxer that i am.

david (team new hampshire)

p.s.
if nobody minds me saying, that when something gets a bit out of
hand on this message board, a moderator could send a mail to the
hostile (me and others) as a warning, before being banned. at least
to give someone a chance to cool it before getting into trouble.
thanks.

Hiya Dave,

Welcome back. I'm the evil moderator that banned you when I should have put
you on moderation status. A few minutes later, when I realized that I did
the wrong thing, I unbanned you. You probably didn't realize it but you
could have signed back up as gingerbreadjunk. Hopefully, we can both learn
from out mistakes and move on.

Choi

Kudos to both Dave and Choi.

I too will appologize for my "stupid" remark.

Dave here is a listing of various sites you can research to find
most of the answers to your questions.

Letterboxing.org:
http://www.letterboxing.org/faq/faq.html

Silent Doug's site:
http://www.letterboxing.info/
Doug probably has the best info site on Hitchhikers and links to
regional chatlists.

AtlasQuest:
http://www.atlasquest.com/
Ryan has a link set up "Code of Conduct" that is really good for all
boxers to read

newboxers' group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newboxers/
Where there is no dumb question, and is "the" place for many
newletterboxers.

In addition to these sites you can find listings of other sites on
the left hand side of the chatlist home page, as well as listings on
the LBNA home page. You should be advised that many times there are
hidden clues lodged in informational sites as well as the great info
that can be found. Many times things are not what they seem, and
that includes past "flames" listed in the archives of this list.
