Okay, I've looked through the post archives and the info (FAQs)on LbNA...
I should be able to make the green flags appear by my boxes by
choosing to enable in Member Services.
Letterbox Status (Yours) - disable letterbox status display for your
boxes; currently enabled.
Currently enabled. That should do it, right?
I have tried toggling that thing on and off and refreshing the list
and I can't see a green flag on my boxes. Am I a dunce? Shouldn't
this make the flags show up so members can note when they find the box?

My found boxes now show up with checkmarks, not the green flags. At one time, I think the green flags meant that the clue to that letterbox was not hosted on LBNA but on a private website. But that could have changed. I can't keep up! --Papeseed

The flags that appear on the list of clue names means the clue isn't
hosted on LbNA. If there isn't a flag then click on the clue and it
should have the flag in the top right hand corner with a list of
finders, if any. From the members page you can set it so that it
hides your boxes the ones you found and attemped/missing boxes. With
everything enabled you should only see clues for boxes you need to
get.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't see your reply in my email but just
found it on the talk list at Yahoo.
I didn't understand exactly what Steve was trying to tell me. Really,
for all the time I've been on the internet and all the time I spend on
it during an average week, you'd think I could keep up with things.
It makes sense to me now. I had replied to Steve but have since
deleted the reply that I just didn't know why I wasn't seeing it.
NOW I SEE. ;-) duh.

THANKS, Steve!!! I didn't get it but I went back today with a fresh look (and a rested brain ). If you got the reply that said I just don't see it, ignore.
