WAYNE!!!
I can't believe I've been so CLUELESS all this time about the Mt. Tabor box.
Yesterday we finally scored it after you confirmed it was there. It was the
right tree all right. AND you got a hitchhiker!!! I don't know if
hitchhikers have ever been found in the Pacific NW until this one. You
should be extremely proud of yourself, Bub! This Mt. Tabor thing made me
feel like the laughing stock of the Letterboxing community after you so
easily bop up there and score the image.
In order to appease the Letterboxing Gods for my blatant and laughable
previous attempts, I've put out a new series in Forest Park and will post
clues, soon. I warn you, though. There is no compass involved and my clues
are EASY, so it may not be your cup of tea. Still, it's a great loop hike
and will be fun for families and those of us who are somewhat "challenged"
in the skills area of this sport.
P.S. It's my fault, not John's that we didn't find this thing sooner! I
had a replacement all ready to go. DUH!
Best regards,
Amanda Briles

I was wondering if this is still a favorite past time of campers and travelers alike. My family and I did this quite a few years ago and I was hoping that it was still as popular. I'm in Maine and I didn't know if anyone was still placing them. Thanks

More than ever. Many are now listed on Atlasquest.com instead of LBNA however.
