Pam - Wow you are right! I just looked at the SW Ohio section on the web
page and you have a ton of great spots down there. I am in your area a lot
in the summer as my traditional Irish band plays at four festivals in the
area (Cinci Irish, Cinci Celtic, Dayton Irish, and Newport Ky, Irish) and we
have also started playing at the Dubliner in Cincinnati. I have a niece and
nephew in the Mason area, so I will have to get them into letterboxing next.

I should have said that there are only a few boxes in NORTHWEST Ohio . . .
but it is growing. . . Pemberville is just north of Rt. 6 between Bowling
Green and Fremont. It is on the Portage River, about 20 minutes east of
I-75. They have a nice festival there in the summer, and they have a newly
restored Opera House that was built in 1862. You can catch smallmouth,
crappie and bluegill in the rapids almost all summer. If you were driving to
Toledo,Maumee, or Perrysburg, it wouldn't be far off the track.

Kop,

I am from Toledo originally and embarrased that I had no idea where
Pemberville was! In fact, from your description, I suspect we drive thru on
our way to Fremont--yikes! How unobservant I used to be.

However, I will be in Fremont over Thanksgiving so am going to make it a
point to find your boxes if at all possible!

And let me know when you will be down this way in the summer--I will plant a
box in your honor! I am near Maos so it will be a great opportunity to get
your niece and nephew involved.
