Sometime shortly, letterboxing.org will point to the new site. Its
hard to say exactly when this will occur, but it should all be done by
this time next week.
This means the old site will become inaccessable (at least at that url,
and at the ip address represented by www.letterboxing.org).
This also means that mail to webmasters at letterboxing.org, etc., may
bounce for apparently arbitrary seeming reasons.
This also means access to either site may be unavailable for apparently
arbitrary reasons as well, tho your neighbor may have fine access.

to www.letterboxing.org? they will be redirected won't they?

Old boxes:
The old site will be archived so that if a box doesn't get data-entered, we can
go back and look it up.
Old info sheets:
Once the domain name is switched, the normal 'www.letterboxing.org' name will be
the database site, which will have all the information that the old site had, so
people will still be able to use the same address as before.

Is anyone else having trouble getting www.letterboxing.org to come up? I
can get google & www.atlasquest.com and other sites, so I know it's not my
cable internet playing games with us.

Choi says that letterboxing.org is down thanks to a server failure and the
hosting service is working on it. Hopefully they'll get it up and going
again quickly!
