Patti, I don't know about others, but my name was my name when I was a camp
counselor and we didn't give the girls our names until the last day. It was
a special memory for me and I wanted to honor that time so when I saw that
many use nicknames, I started using it. I also liked it because it fit with
the theme of my personal stamp. I'm finding though, that unlike camp, I use
my real name as much as my nickname.

Cadenza aka. Jana

Could someone please tell me why everyone uses "code names" and how you got
them? Just curious!

I was thrilled to see so many stamps in our first letterbox of people on
this list! I can't place a face with the name but I can now place a stamp
with the name!

This is just too fun!

Patti <---need a name!

Pick a name that has something do with you likes or personality or something
from your past.
I picked Irish Tinker which is an Irish Gypsy because I am 100o/o Irish
American and I like to wander around in the outdoors like a gypsy.
My sister picked Odillio because my daughter started calling her that when
she was learning to talk.
My husband picked French Fox but just changed it to Freedom Fox because of
his new patriotic stamp. The Fox part comes from his real name, Todd which
means Fox.
My three year old goes by Ladybug98 because she loves anything with ladybugs
on it.
My three year old goes by Rosie Bunny because when we went to pick out
stamps she really wanted a bunny stamp and her nick name has been Rosie
since birth.

I am also pleased to hear everyone's stories. It is interesting
to see how many different worlds come together in our "club". I
would also like to thank Just Wes for all of his tireless effort in
making our lives that much easier. Go Wes Go!

I prefer the easy clues also especially since we're new at it! But I mostly
enjoy letterboxing because it's a great activity to do with my boys and we
all have fun hunting down boxes together and we love to be outdoors! I
don't want to have to struggle with clues...I want it to just be fun!

But I do bow to those who can puzzle out the really difficult clues and
solve them! :)

I did! I'm not quite ready to carve my own stamp but I found a cute stamp
that I really like and I use a pink ink pad (for the peppermint part!).
Having a blast!

Peppermint Patti ;)
